Brian Peters traces the influence of his Welsh family, his early exposure to acoustic music, key folk revival performers and some of the great traditional singers, on his own career as a professional musician.
The programme includes tracks from Brian himself, the Treorchy Male Voice Choir, The Incredible String Band, The Copper Family, Nic Jones, Ray Fisher, Walter Pardon, Morris On, Harry Boardman, Roy Harris and Phil Tanner.
Brian Peters is a singer and multi-instrumentalist (Anglo concertina, melodeon, guitar), and has been a professional musician for twenty years. He loves traditional songs - especially the great old ballads - and Northern English dance music, but has also been known to play modern songs and anything from ragtime to rock'n'roll on his squeezeboxes.
